About the La Capitana Di Venetia
The Capitana Di Venetia was a command galley of the Venetian admiral Marco Quirini. Most notably, it took part in the Battle of Lepanto on the 7th of October 1571. This is a brilliant and detailed recreation of the ship, guaranteed to provide a rewarding ship building project.
About the manufacturer
In 1922, Aeronaut began its journey in Germany when Alois Eggenweiler found a small carpenter’s shop to operate from. Eventually, a local school became the first customer to order materials as the small company grew. After this, schools across Germany received model kits and the first Aernoaut model shops opened.
The origins of Aeronaut speak volumes about the company ethos – community, education, dedication, and a real focus on skill. Almost 100 years and countless awards later, Aeronaut are still supplying some of the best kits in the industry.
