About the Alte Liebe
Built in 1931, the Alte Liebe is a tugboat which would always be found at the Cuxhaven Harbour. She was used specifically as a pilot, fireboat and salvage tug. Powered by a triple expansion steam engine, the boiler was a single cylinder tube boiler with a return flue.
