About the Slo-Mo Shun IV
The Slo-Mo Shun IV certainly has a record-breaking history! It truly shows the determination of the human spirit, and its attempt to beat the water speed record had a whole community cheering it on. Three marine lovers came together to accomplish this huge feat – it is safe to say they encountered plenty of trial and error. On 26th of June 1950, the boat reached 160.323 mph…a new record! It would go on to beat its own record weeks later, reaching 178.49 mph.
