About La Nina
In 1492, La Nina (little girl in Spanish), made history as one of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage to the West Indies. Already, this ship is part of one of the most famous voyages ever undertaken.
Nina holds the distinction of being Columbus’ favourite…not many ships can say that! While she was a standard caravel-type vessel, surpassed in size by accompanying ships, Nina holds a very special place in the archives of maritime history.
