About the HMS Terror
The HMS Terror was a specialised warship constructed for the Royal Navy in 1813. Taking parts in several battles, including the Battle of Baltimore, the name was certainly appropriate for this ship. Following this, Terror was converted into a polar exploration ship, though was lost during Sir John Franklin’s attempt to force the Northwest Passage in 1845.
Many years later in 2016, it was announced that the wreck of the Terror had been discovered! This model kit is a perfect way to recreate a historic ship to call your very own.
