Making history in in the 19^th Century, the America Yacht was a racing powerhouse that was the first winner of the America’s Cup international sailing trophy. Led by NYYC charter member Commodore John Cox Stephens, the America Yacht was built with the purpose of sailing to England to compete and show off the U.S skill for shipbuilding.

Designed to sail faster with a conclave clipper bow, it was among the most seaworthy vessels of its day. This kit will allow you to pay homage to a pioneering and much admired part of boating history.
