About the Gunboat Philadelphia
The Gunboat Philadelphia, officially known as USS Philadelphia, was a ship of the Continental Navy. She was part of a fleet under the command of General Benedict Arnold and took part in the 1776 Battle of Valcour Island.
Despite sinking on the day of the battle, she was one of the few vessels used in the Revolutionary War to be raised. You too can bring life back to this historic ship with the USS Philadelphia model kit!
