The Golden Hind has been around the globe and back, and now you can rebuild this piece of maritime history for yourself. Navigated by Sir Frances Drake between 1577 and 1580, and partly sponsored by Elizabeth I, this is one of the most famous galleon ships in the world.
A full sized, sailable reconstruction is viewable on the south bank of the Thames and this kit gives you the chance to build your own scaled down replica.
This all-in-one kit is fantastic for beginners, and measures in at 25 centimetres in length, 4 in width and 20 in height. It has a pre-built wooden hull, and the instructions can be provided in English, French, German or Italian.
