All-In-One Greek Bireme – Dusek (D001)

Description

This model is a terrific recreation of the Greek Bireme, from the 6^th Century. The garrison force was formed by fifty oarsmen, and they sat in two rows with one above another. In the event of a conflict, the oarsmen would leave the oars and fight with onboard swords and shields. Furthermore, the ship was fitted with a protrusion at the front which served to sink the enemy boats.
