How the finish is achieved

Hulls are built up in timber, faired, primed and polished through repeated stages to get an even, deep gloss across large surfaces. Glazing is cut and set into the window openings rather than painted, which is the detail that most often gives away a cheap motor yacht model. Waterlines and boot tops are masked and cut cleanly.

Deck detail

Radar arch and mast, antennae, railings, sunpads, seating, davits and tenders are all reproduced at scale and kept fine rather than heavy. Decking is laid or scribed to represent teak where the design carries it.
